DESCRIPTION & CONDITION
Up for auction is this very nice, RARE, 1950s
screen printed
cardboard bar advertisement for Calvert Whiskey.  This ad comes with an actual photograph of a man holding a bottle of Calvert. I'm not sure who he may be but he appears to be a bar employee (bar tender) and has his name screen printed below.  Maybe he was presented this as employee of the month.
This item shows age patina on the backside, minor common handling wear, minor age blemishes on the sides and does not lay totally flat ( very minor warping). I'm pretty certain that if left flat and pressed or framed properly it will flatten entirely. Other than that which are all minor age related flaws, all else including it's strong colors is perfect.  This item is perfect for the collector of advertising, barware, distillery or any other item related merchandise.  A very cool and attractive vintage piece.
