THEATRE DE LA MODE "FLEURS DU MAL" TYLER WENTWORTH 16"~NRFB!
Up 2001 Tonner's Tyler Theatre De La Mode "Fleurs du Mal" 16" doll, LE 3000. This doll is new, never removed from the box, includes doll, stand and all accessories. The outfit represents 'evil flowers' over a draped column of candy-pink silk crepe; blooming black embroidered bodice in illusion with short cap sleeves above the asymmetrical skirt with a sumptuously pleated side back. Rising majestically above the composition is a tall fez of black feathers. The fez in protected in the box by a piece of light weight plastic. She's not a model, but the fashion designer". In an article in Doll Reader magazine, May 1999, written by Mary Graff, Tonner describes his "1999 doll line, ...'Opulent'.
Inspired by the Parisian fashion miniatures exhibit from the 1940’s, the Theatre de la Mode collection is an interpretation of the brilliantly designed ensembles that traveled the world proclaiming France as the prevailing haute couture capital of the world.
This auction is for the NRFB doll as shown above.  She comes to you new and complete with her stand in her original Tonner box.
